To submit a document for review, log into our schedule (WCOnline) using your NAU ID and navigate to the Winter 2025 Review-and-Return Schedule. You've come to the right place to schedule appointments for writing support. We are open for appointments Monday through Friday (7am-7pm) between September 2 and December 5.

General Appointments
Face-to-face appointments at one of our Mountain Campus locations, or online. Navigate to the Spring 2026 General Schedule to find an appointment with one of our Writing Assistants. Read more.
IF you would like language support services to develop your pronunciation/oral communication skills, navigate to the Spring 2026 General Schedule and find an available appointment. All our Writing Assistants can provide language support, but Shannon, Camille, and Raihan have been trained by the NAU Global Communications Center. In the appointment scheduler, note that you would like to work on language skills.
Through the Spring 2026 General Schedule, you can schedule recurring appointments with a specific Writing Assistant. Simply click "Repeating" in the appointment scheduling window and set appointments to repeat on a weekly basis until a certain date.
Appointment incentive: win a Target gift card for attending 3+ writing support appointments. Contact WritingCenter@nau.edu to receive your gift card and be prepared to provide proof of attendance.
Review-and-Return
Asynchronous (not face-to-face) review of your writing. Submit your work as a .doc with a note about the type of feedback you'd like to receive. You will receive your work back with feedback within 48 hours. Navigate to the Spring 2026 Review-and-Return Schedule to submit your work through the next available slot. Read more.
DATA (Dissertation and Thesis Appointments) Support

Drop In Hours
For when you have a simple question about your writing, or when you want to get writing support with a friend.
You do not need to schedule an appointment for Drop In Hours. Simply come to Cline Library on (spring 2026 days/times to be determined) and let the front desk know that you're here for Drop In Hours. To attend virtually, email us at writingcenter@nau.edu.
